A 4PL with an increase in freight volumes has resulted in our client needing extra support to a small team of operators processing large volumes of export and import orders of raw materials distributed locally and overseas.

The key requirements are that you will have EDI Cargowise experience, including 5 years’ minimum international freight forwarding exposure covering both air and sea freight operations, including customs clearance.

A Customs PIN would be an added advantage.

Given the scale and growth of our client’s operation this role could well become permanent and will only be determined towards the end of the 7 month assignment.

Our client is a leading hand, elbow and arm surgeon who after 9 years has lost his superstar PA to retirement.

Being a busy practice this role desires an independent self-starter, who is well organised and capable of coordinating all appointments for the practice and surgical procedures, along with ACC documentation and follow up.

You will need to be technically competent with MS Office Suite, have fast and accurate keyboard skills (a touch typist), and be quick learner of systems common to the practice of Orthopaedics.  

The role is demanding of a reliable, mature and stable worker, who is confident in making decisions, and assertive in taking the initiative when needed.  

The practice is closed for two weeks over Christmas with remaining holidays taken at the same time as the Surgeon mid-year.

Early Learning Centre Manager

A very successful childcare business has an opportunity for a Centre Manager to join their team in West Auckland. 

This is a great opportunity to manage 30 staff. In this role you will receive a very attractive salary and have the opportunity to grow within the business.

A unique opportunity exists for a senior results focused Centre Manager to provide commercial oversight and leadership to the highly experienced team. As a natural leader you will provide strong leadership and drive solid occupancy rates.

Key tasks:

  • Ensure maximisation of Net Operating Income by effectively managing the daily business operations of the Centre
  • Implementing the overall strategic plan for the centre. 
  • Review all revenue and expenses, preparing monthly reports and provide regular insight on profit/loss to the group.
  • Provide support to other members of the Centre Management team
  • Communicate Centre objectives to key community groups
  • Develop and deliver the centre Marketing strategy

Ideal candidate:

  • Relevant Centre Management or experience in managing over 20 staff in a fast paced environment.

Glaziers - $65,000 - $80,000 per annum

We are after 4 glaziers, minimum experience would be 1-2 years glazing install experience.

We are after people who have experience in all aspects of glazing. Hourly wage would be anywhere between $22/hour - $28/hour (plus bonus, plus after hours call outs).

On target earnings annually will be between $65,000 - $80,000 per annum. 

Experience required:

  • Glazing on site experience
  • Timber frame glazing – hack outs, putty work
  • Aluminium frame glazing – install experience
  • Exposure to frameless glass installation & knowledge of frameless hardware systems
  • Heavy weight flat glass installation
  • Glass cutting experience (float glass 4 -6mm, laminate glass 6mm)

Marketing / Project Coordinator

In the first instance, this newly created role will primarily be working on the marketing for our client's new childcare business. Additionally, 20-30% of your time will be spent working with the General Manager of their property business on their marketing activity - property management, project management and investment. 

Our client has developed the brand and marketing plans, but now we're after someone who can execute the plan, while also coming up with new initiatives in the future. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop along side the management team and consultants the strategic marketing plan
  • Execute the companies strategic marketing plan
  • Plan, manage and execute centre and company events 
  • Act as the liaison between external marketing companies and management 
  • Manage the marketing and communications budget
  • Coordinate social media activities and accounts, and develop and implement an online brand strategy
  • Develop brand strategies and oversee content creation
  • Prepare proposals and client communication 
  • Deal with outside stakeholders and their integration into the brand 
  • Support management in other tasks as required
