About the Job

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, and delivering tailored sea freight solutions. You will work closely with internal operations and account management teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The role requires someone commercially astute who can combine strong sales skills with technical understanding of CargoWise systems to enhance operational efficiency and client outcomes.

About You

• You are a proven performer in the logistics industry with a strong track record in business development. 
• Solid experience in sea freight and international logistics.
• New Zealand experience business development experience.
• Display a network of successful past business initiatives.
• Proficiency in using and optimising CargoWise for client and operational outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
